AMY CHALMERS IS NO ARMCHAIR DECORATOR.

Country Sampler's Upstyled Home - - LIVING IN OUTDOOR SPACES -

Her dreams lead to literally moving mountains and earth. As a lover of everything French, her house is always undergoing improvements. A fascination with French doors from her dining room to outside naturally led to the need for a courtyard. Enter her husband, Dave Chalmers, who, with an excavating company and heavy equipment, was able to move her dream from a pile of rubble into a magnificent place to hang out and refresh. It may be the ultimate garden renovation.

Amy’s attention to detail means furnishings are as carefully arranged as blocks of granite. Lots of furniture groupings, upcycled umbrellas for shade, and pillows with a monogram denote personal style.

A place to sit and relax is layered with Sunbrella fabrics, which are created to endure sunlight and other outdoor elements.
