EX­TRA-SPE­CIAL EGGS

DRESS UP THESE PLAS­TIC EASTER BAS­KET STA­PLES WITH A CLOAK OF TWINE.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

5 plas­tic 2-piece eggs

100 ft. of 2 mm jute twine Rib­bon or lace

Dec­o­ra­tive em­bel­lish­ments,

such as but­tons or beads Hot glue gun

DIREC­TIONS

1. Sep­a­rate the eggs into 2 pieces. Be­gin­ning at the open end of one half, ad­here one end of the twine with hot glue. 2. Coil the twine around an egg half, ad­her­ing with dabs of glue as needed. Con­tinue to the top of the half and cut the twine to fit. Se­cure with hot glue. Re­peat the process with the other egg half. 3.

Cut lengths of rib­bon or lace to dec­o­rate the mid­dle of the eggs. Ad­here to only one half of each egg with glue so the eggs can be opened to fill with treats. 4.

Re­peat process with the other 4 eggs.
