Knit to neck opening; cast on 21 (25, 29, 33, 37, 37, 39) sts for front neck; knit to end—93 (101, 111, 119, 129, 137, 147) sts. Knit all rows until 22 rows of garter st have been worked from pick-up row (garter st section complete). Continue as for back from * to *, ending with a WS row; do not cut yarn. Inc row (RS): Joining row: Body All Sizes Except 3X-Large Joining rnd: With RS facing, transfer back sts to working needle; knit across back sts, pm; knit across front sts, pm for beg of rnd—150 (166, 186, 202, 222, 238) sts. Size 3X-Large Only Joining rnd: With RS facing, transfer back sts to working needle; working in Lace pat, work across back sts, pm; work across front sts, pm for beg of rnd—258 sts. All Sizes Continue in pat sequence, ending after having completed 3 reps of Lace section in body. Note: There will be 2 complete garter st sections and 3 complete Lace pat sections on body; this does not include pat sections worked (or started) on bodice. At the same time, work an Inc rnd on Rnd 21 of first garter st section and on Rnds 1 and 21 of 2nd garter st section as follows: [K1, kfb, knit to 2 sts before marker, kfb, k1, sm] twice—162 (178, 198, 214, 234, 250, 270) sts after all 3 Inc rnds have been worked.
