Make 1 Left (M1L): Insert LH needle from front to back under horizontal strand between last st worked and next st on LH needle; knit through back of resulting loop.

Cowlet is worked in the round from the top down. It is shaped using increasingly larger needles and 2 increase rounds, resulting in a wider finished edge.

Change to size 9 needle; work 10-rnd Alternating Rib pat.
Change to size 10 needle. Inc rnd: *K20, M1L; rep from * until 2 sts rem, k2—128 sts.
Knit 1 rnd. Inc rnd: *K32, M1L; rep from * around—132 sts. Body Continuing with size 10 needle, work Lace pat until piece measures 16 inches, ending with a Rnd 4.
Bind off using Stretchy Bind-Off.
Weave in loose ends. Block lightly.
