Get cozy with this quick and clas­sic bas­ket-weave throw that you’ll want to re­lax with af­ter a bliss­ful yoga class.

Gauge

71/2 sts and 13 rows = 4 inches/10cm in Bas­ket Weave pat (blocked). Note: Be­cause of weight of this yarn, do not mea­sure swatch flat. Block swatch and then hang it up overnight with small weights sus­pended at bot­tom to mimic weight of fin­ished throw. To save time, take time to check gauge.

Pat­tern Stitch

Bas­ket Weave (mul­ti­ple of 6 sts + 9) Rows 1 and 3: K6, *p3, k3; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3. Rows 2 and 4: K3, *p3, k3; rep from * to last 6 sts, p3, k3. Rows 5 and 7: Rep Row 2. Rows 6 and 8: Rep Row 1.

Cir­cu­lar nee­dle is used to ac­com­mo­date the large num­ber of stitches. Do not join.

Throw

Cast on 75 sts. Knit 6 rows. Work [8-row Bas­ket Weave pat] 17 times. Knit 6 rows. Bind off all sts kwise.

Fin­ish­ing

Weave in ends. Block if de­sired.
