Editor’s note

Creative Knitting - - EDITOR'S NORE -

After nearly seven years as Executive Editor of this amazing magazine, and part of the Annie’s Publishing family for nearly 10 years, I bid you farewell.

As I write this, I’m preparing to embark on a new creative chapter, but Creative Knitting will forever be in my heart. I’ll never forget the honor of having been asked to lead the CK ship and seeing my first issue in print.

Planning a new issue was my biggest thrill. I considered this to be the most important and creative step, and I viewed the process with fresh eyes, like a white canvas waiting to be painted.

Since the beginning, my wish has been to help you on your yarn-crafting path and to get down in the knitting “trenches” right along with you, sharing tips, tutorials and, of course, the patterns envisioned by the prolific designers who grace the pages of Creative Knitting magazine.

I wish you happiness and hope that you will continue to explore and discover new approaches with an open mind even if they seem to be a little out of your comfort zone.

I'm happy to share with you that Creative Knitting is being left in capable hands, those of experienced knitting designer Corrina Ferguson. Check in next issue to meet her! Until we meet again, my friends …

Stay happy and always keep those needles clicking!

“Don’t be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends. ” —Richard Bach

A cabled cardigan is just the thing to keep you cozy this winter!
