Spe­cial Tech­nique

I-Cord Bind-Off: Cast on 3 sts to LH nee­dle. *K2, ssk, sl 3 sts from RH nee­dle back to LH nee­dle; rep from * un­til all sts are bound off. Cut yarn and pull strand through the rem 3 sts.

Pat­tern Notes

This gar­ment is worked from the top down. After the body is com­pleted, stitches along the fronts and back neck are picked up and worked in the Scal­lop Stitch pat­tern. An I-Cord Bind-Off fin­ishes the Col­lar edge.

A cir­cu­lar nee­dle is used to ac­com­mo­date large num­ber of stitches; do not join.

When cast­ing on for un­der­arm, use back­ward loop (see page 81) method.
