Editor’s Note,

Creative Knitting - - CONTENTS -

New beginnings can happen anytime you are ready to tackle fresh challenges and take some chances. My big new beginning is that I’m now your editor of Creative Knitting magazine. I’m Corrina Ferguson, a knitting designer and instructor, and the new captain of this knitting ship. Together we’re going to explore my favorite part of knitting—learning. There’s always something fun to learn in knitting. It doesn’t matter where you are in your knitting career; what matters is that you are adventurous. My absolute favorite kind of knitter is an adventurous one—a knitter that wants to acquire new knitting skills and take their own knitting to the next level. Your next level and my next level might be totally different places, but we can still get there together. So, what is it that you are itching to try? In this issue, we are going to learn mosaic lace knitting—a fun and unusual technique which combines slip-stitch knitting and lace for a beautiful effect! We’ve also got an entire selection of beautiful lace projects, from easy projects to challenging ones—all the better for you to find something just right! So, what’s your next knitting adventure? I’d love to hear from you!

“And suddenly you know: It's time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.” —Meister Eckhart
