2 over 1 Left Purl Cross (2/1 LPC): Slip next 2 sts to cn and hold in front, p1, k2 from cn. 2 over 1 Right Purl Cross (2/1 RPC): Slip next st to cn and hold in back, k2, p1 from cn. 2 over 2 Left Cross (2/2 LC): Slip next 2 sts to cn and hold in front, k2, k2 from cn. 2 over 2 Right Cross (2/2 RC): Slip next 2 sts to cn and hold in back, k2, k2 from cn. Make 1 (M1): Insert LH needle from front to back under strand between st just worked and next st, k1-tbl.

Row 3: *2/1 LC, 2/1 RC; rep from * once more. Row 4: K1, p4, k2, p4, p1. Row 5: P1, 2/2 RC, p2, 2/2 LC, p1. Row 6: K1, p4, k2, p4, k1. Row 7: *2/1 RC, 2/1 LC; rep from * once more. Row 8: P2, k2, p4, k2, p2. Rep Rows 1–8 for pat.
Cast on 34 sts. Knit 3 rows. Inc row (RS): K12, pm, k2, p2, M1, k2, M1, p2, k2, pm, k12—36 sts. Next row (WS): K12, p2, k2, p4, k2, p2, k12. Setup row (RS): K12, work Row 1 of Cable Panel over next 12 sts, k12. Keeping first and last 12 sts in garter st and sts between markers in Cable Panel, work even until wrap measures approx 54 inches from cast-on edge, measured flat, ending with a Row 2 of Cable Panel. Next row (RS): K12, remove marker, k3, k2tog, k2, ssk, k3, remove marker, knit to end—34 sts. Knit 2 rows. Bind off all sts.
