CIR­CLE Make 5 each black licorice, white & mod blue, & 4 robin’s egg. Rnd 1:

Make slip ring (see illustration), 6 sc in ring, pull end to close ring, do not join (see Pat­tern Notes), place marker (see Pat­tern Notes). (6 sc)

7. Fold each Horn in half; with pink, sew ends of rows tog, then sew bot­tom edges of Horns to rnd 4 on top of Head 1 inch apart. 8. With sc at front, sew Head Spot with black over rnds 2–5 on Head be­tween Horns. 9. With black, sew a Leg Spot over rnds 5–7 on side of each Leg. 10. With Aran, sew 2 Legs over rnds 13–16 on bot­tom of Body 1 inch apart, then sew 2 Legs over rnds 3–6 on bot­tom of Body 3/4 inch apart. 11. With black, sew plain end of Tail to rnd 6 at cen­ter top end of Body.

illustration), em­broi­der mouth cen­tered be­low nos­trils be­tween rnds 2 and 3 of Muz­zle.


Sew Cow to straight, in­ner edge of Moon as shown in photo. At­tach 18-inch length of monofil­a­ment thread to 1 point on each star. At­tach other end of same thread to bot­tom edge of Moon cen­tered be­low Cow as shown in photo. For hanger, at­tach 36-inch length of monofil­a­ment thread to top point on Moon.
