Refer to Color Sequence for Face, Background and Facial Features. Blocks are joined together in rows with a join-as-you-go technique. Refer to Placement Diagram and written instructions for joining sequence. Work all Facial Features after Blocks are assembled and Border is completed. Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated. Chain-2 at beginning of round counts as first half double crochet unless otherwise stated. Chain-3 at beginning of row counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.
