AS­SEM­BLY

Us­ing photo as a guide, po­si­tion Fa­cial Fea­tures on Pump­kin front, place a drop of glue on WS of Fa­cial Fea­ture and po­si­tion on Pump­kin, rep with rem 7 pieces. When com­pletely dry, with a length of black and sewing nee­dle, tack each point of the Fa­cial Fea­tures to Pump­kin. Us­ing care not to sew Stem to rnd 7 of Pump­kin, with length of brown, sew sl st end of Stem to rnd 5 of Pump­kin, sew Stem edges to rnd 6, leav­ing rnd 7 free to work Pump­kin Fin­ish­ing. With length of green, sew Leaf next to Stem. With steam iron, gen­tly block Pump­kins us­ing care not to dis­turb Fa­cial Fea­tures.

PUMP­KIN FIN­ISH­ING

Rnd 1: With Pump­kin with Fea­tures fac­ing, hold a plain Pump­kin on back with WS tog and match­ing sts, join orange in st be­hind Leaf, ch 1, work­ing through both thick­nesses through­out, sc in same st as beg ch-1, sc in each rem st around, join in beg sc. Fas­ten off.

Just in time for fall dec­o­rat­ing, this easy and quick-to-make project is a good first in­tro­duc­tion to cro­chet­ing with thread.
