and #419 ecru • Size 7/1.65mm steel cro­chet hook • Tapestry nee­dle • 9 x 14mm oval bead • 8mm jump ring • 6 x 12mm lob­ster-claw clasp

Weave in loose ends as work pro­gresses. Join with slip stitch as in­di­cated un­less oth­er­wise stated. Chain-2 at beginning of row counts as first half dou­ble cro­chet un­less oth­er­wise stated.


Rnd 1 (RS): With light peach form a slip ring (see illustration), ch 1, 10 hdc in ring, join

(see Pat­tern Notes) in first hdc, draw loose end of slip ring tightly to close open­ing, do not turn. (10 hdc)

Rnd 2: Ch 1, [hdc in each of next 4 sts, ch 1, in next st work (hdc, dc, hdc), ch 1] twice, join in beg hdc, do not turn. (12 hdc, 2 dc, 4 ch-1 sps)

Rnd 3: Ch 1, [sc in each of next 4 sts, 2 sc in next ch-1 sp, sc in next st, (hdc, ch 1, hdc) in next dc, sc in next st, 2 sc in ch-1 sp] twice, join in beg sc, do not turn.

Fas­ten off light peach. (20 sc, 4 hdc, 2 ch-1 sps)

Rnd 4 (RS): Join ecru in ch-1 sp, ch 1, [(hdc, ch 1, hdc) in ch-1 sp, sc in each st across to next ch-1 sp] twice, join in beg hdc. Fas­ten off. (24 sc, 4 hdc, 2 ch-1 sps)

Row 1 (RS): Join light peach in first sc be­fore ch-1 sp, sk next hdc, [hdc, ch 1, (dc, ch 1) 3 times, hdc] in next ch-1 sp, sk next hdc, sl st in next sc. Fas­ten off.

Row 2: Join ecru in last un­worked sc on Cen­ter be­fore Point, sc in each of next 4 sts of Point, (hdc, ch 2, hdc) in next dc, sc in each of next 4 sts, sl st

A pretty sum­mer ac­cent, this bracelet is cro­cheted with size 10 thread. Light­weight and quick to make, it can be cro­cheted in any com­bi­na­tion of col­ors to match a fo­cal bead or gem­stone.
