PAT­TERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work pro­gresses. Join with slip stitch as in­di­cated un­less other­wise stated. Chain-3 at be­gin­ning of row counts as first dou­ble cro­chet un­less other­wise stated. Gar­ment is worked in one piece to arm­holes, then back and each front are fin­ished sep­a­rately.

When count­ing stitches, each shell and each V-st count as 3 stitches (ch-1 space of V-st counts as 1 stitch). When there are in­suf­fi­cient stitches to com­plete a shell or V-st due to shap­ing, dc in each avail­able st and space un­til stitch pat­tern can be re­sumed.
