FIN­ISH­ING

With ta­pes­try nee­dle and 1 strand of match­ing color, tak­ing care not to twist leaf, sew a few hid­den sts through back of leaf posts to se­cure cen­ter of each leaf. For each fringe, cut 20-inch lengths of up to 10 strands, de­pend­ing on num­ber of tails in­cor­po­rated. Use match­ing col­ors plus nearby tails of any color in each fringe. Place a fringe in each cor­ner and evenly sp (ap­prox­i­mately 2 inches apart) be­tween cor­ners. Trim ends even. CW
