PAT­TERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work pro­gresses. Chain- 6 at be­gin­ning of row counts as first dou­ble cro­chet and chain-3 un­less oth­er­wise stated. Mo­tifs are joined to­gether in 2 rows for each Bor­der with a join- as- you- go tech­nique. Fol­low Place­ment Di­a­gram for join­ing se­quence. FIN­ISH­ING

Pin Shawl to fin­ished mea­sure­ments, spray with wa­ter and al­low to dry. With long edge fac­ing, sew but­ton to cen­ter top of each Mo­tif of first Bor­der. Sew 3 buttons to top edge of Cen­ter Sec­tion evenly sp from first 2 buttons. Rep across other Bor­der Mo­tifs and other side of Cen­ter Sec­tion. Use ch- sps on op­po­site long edge as but­ton­holes.
