Us­ing one beau­ti­fully col­ored and tex­tured yarn for in­spi­ra­tion, this cowl re­lies on color changes to de­ter­mine where to place the tex­tured bob­bles and long half dou­ble cro­chet stitches. De­cep­tively easy to stitch, you’ll find your­self look­ing for unique skeins of yarn so you can make more than one!

GAUGE

13 sts = 4 inches; 9 hdc rows = 4 inches

PAT­TERN NOTES

Yarn is com­prised of thick and thin sec­tions in multi- and solid- color strands. Stitch­ing varies in each round by thick­ness and color of stitches of pre­vi­ous round. Weave in loose ends as work pro­gresses. Join with slip stitch as in­di­cated un­less oth­er­wise stated. Be­gin­ning in round 2, work in con­tin­u­ous rounds. Do not join un­less oth­er­wise stated. Place stitch marker on first stitch of round and move up as each round is com­pleted.
