FIN­ISH­ING

Fold hood in half length­wise with RS tog, ch 1, work­ing through both lay­ers tog, sl st in front lp of first st of both lay­ers, *sl st in back lp of next st of both lay­ers, sl st in front lp of next st of both lay­ers, rep from * across, sl st in last st, fas­ten off. (27 [28, 29, 30, 31] sl sts) With RS of front and pocket fac­ing and first row of pocket at top, po­si­tion 1 pocket to each front cen­tered length­wise be­tween ch-1 sps of waist­band and hem, and cen­tered be­tween front and side edges. Sew in place.

LEFT EDG­ING

Join yarn on WS of Left Back at hem, ch 2, hdc in each row across, fas­ten off. (104 [108, 108, 112, 112] hdc)

RIGHT EDG­ING

Join yarn on WS of Right Front side open­ing at hem, ch 2, hdc in each row across, fas­ten off.

FRONT/ HOOD EDG­ING

SIN­GLE KNOT FRINGE

Cut 2 12- inch strands of yarn for each bot­tom st of back and fronts. Fold 2 strands in half, in­sert hook from back to front through st, in­sert hook un­der fold, draw through st, pull ends through lp and tighten. Rep for each bot­tom st.

DRAW­STRING TIES

Make 2. With 2 strands of yarn, ch 75 [80, 85, 90, 95], fas­ten off, leav­ing ap­prox­i­mately 10 inches. Weave draw­string through ch-1 sps at waist­band with 10- inch end at cen­ter edge. Weave in ends at side edge to se­cure draw­string. Thread 10- inch free end through yarn nee­dle.

TAS­SELS

Make 2. Cut 20 12- inch strands of yarn for each tas­sel. Fold 20 strands in half, in­sert yarn nee­dle with 10- inch ends of draw­string un­der fold, pull through. In­sert nee­dle in last ch and tighten to se­cure tas­sel top. Wrap strands in nee­dle around tas­sel twice ap­prox­i­mately 1- inch be­low ch, tighten and tie knot. Trim fringe and tas­sels as needed. Weave in ends.
