PATTERN NOTES

Circular openings are created when standard treble crochet stitches are worked within a row of linked treble crochet stitches. Overall lace effect is the result of chain-1 and skipped stitch between each treble crochet and linked treble crochet. Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Loops of chains made between linked treble and standard treble crochet stitches are smaller than top loops of treble crochet stitches. When working slip stitch rows in front loops of chains and all treble crochet stitches, take care not to skip any chains and to keep tension even.
