PATTERN NOTES

Refer to Stitch Diagram as needed.

This charming shawl is versatile and easy to make. Drape it around your shoulders for the perfect lace accessory or tie it around your hips for a trendy beach cover-up.

Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated. Chain-3 at beginning of row counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated. When instructed to work in large clusters, insert hook in space (or in optional chain-1 space) between 2 clusters.

SPECIAL STITCHES

Large cluster ( lg cl): 3- dc cl (see Special Stitches) 2 times in indicated st. 3- double crochet cluster (3- dc cl): Holding back last lp of each st on hook, 3 dc as indicated in instructions, yo, pull through all lps on hook. Optional: Tightly ch 1 to close st. Note: This optional ch is part of the cluster and not counted as a separate st.
