• Caron One Pound medium ( worsted) weight acrylic yarn ( 16 oz/ 812 yds/ 454g per skein): 1 skein # 10611 ocean • Size J/ 10/ 6mm cro­chet hook or size needed to ob­tain gauge • Ta­pes­try nee­dle

GAUGE

14 sts = 4 inches; 16 rows = 4 inches

PAT­TERN NOTE

Weave in loose ends as work pro­gresses.

SCARF

Row 1: Ch 25, sl st loosely in 3rd ch from hook (beg sk chs do not count as a st), [hdc in next ch, sl st loosely in next ch] across, turn. (23 sts) Row 2 (RS): Ch 2 (does not count as a st), sk first sl st, [sl st loosely in next hdc, hdc in next sl st] across to turn­ing ch, sl st loosely in top of turn­ing ch, turn. (23 sts) Rep row 2 un­til scarf mea­sures 78 inches long. Fas­ten off.

FIN­ISH­ING

With RS fac­ing, fold 1 end up 7 inches for pocket. With yarn and ta­pes­try nee­dle, st across each side of pocket, leav­ing top edge un­sewn. Rep at other end.

EAR WARMER

Row 1: Ch 69, sl st loosely in 3rd ch from hook (beg sk chs do not count as a st), [hdc in next ch, sl st loosely in next ch] across, turn. (75 sts)

Row 2 (RS): Ch 2 (does not count as a st), sk first sl st, [sl st loosely in next hdc, hdc in next sl st] across to turn­ing ch, sl st loosely in top of turn­ing ch, turn. Rep row 2 un­til ear warmer mea­sures 4 inches wide. Leav­ing a long tail, fas­ten off.

FIN­ISH­ING

With RS fac­ing, sew short ends tog with end tail.
