Row 2 (RS): Ch 1, sc in first dc, *dc in next sc, sc in next dc, rep from * across, turn. Rep rows 1 and 2 for Stitch Pat­tern.

RUANA RIGHT FRONT/ BACK

With MC, ch 210.

Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from hook, [dc in next ch, sc in next ch] 52 times, place marker in ch at base of same sc, *dc in next ch, sc in next ch, rep from * across, turn. (209 sts)

Start­ing with a WS row, work in Stitch Pat­tern (see Stitch Pat­tern) un­til piece mea­sures 161/2 [171/2, 181/2] inches, end­ing with a WS row. Fas­ten off.

BEG LEFT FRONT & JOIN BACK

With MC, ch 105.

Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from hook, [dc in next ch, sc in next ch] 51 times, dc in next ch; with RS fac­ing, start­ing at marker and work­ing into rem lp of Right Front foun­da­tion ch, *sc in next ch, dc in next ch, rep from * to last ch, sc in last ch, turn. (209 sts) Re­move marker. Start­ing with a WS row, work in Stitch Pat­tern un­til piece mea­sures 161/2 [171/2, 181/2] inches, end­ing with a WS row. Fas­ten off.

Fin­ish­ing Neck/Front Edg­ing

With RS fac­ing and work­ing into rem lp of foun­da­tion ch, join CC with a sl st to lower cen­ter edge of Right Front, ch 1, sc in first ch, *dc in next ch, sc in next ch, rep from * to junc­tion of Left Front to Back, turn work 90 de­grees and work dc into join, turn work 90 de­grees and con­tinue work­ing row 1 of Stitch Pat­tern along foun­da­tion ch of Left Front to lower edge, turn. (209 sts) Work even for 5 more rows in Stitch Pat­tern, end­ing with a WS row. Fas­ten off and weave in ends. Block piece to mea­sure­ments. C!
