Democratic leaders re-elected

KINGSTON >> Frank Cardinale will remain at the helm of the Ulster County Democratic Committee for the next two years.

Cardinale was re-elected committee chairman during a committee convention last week at Kingston City Hall.

Also re-elected to positions on the committee’s board were: Karen Markisenis, vice chair; Ashley Dittus secretary; and Tim Gay, treasurer.

Cardinale, first elected to head the county’s Democrats in 2012, said his goal continues to be making sure Democrats get the best candidates possible for public office and working to see that they are elected.
