34-year-old man shot in the back
NEWBURGH >> A 34-year-old city man was wounded in a weekend shooting, Newburgh police said Monday.
Police said the man, whose name they did not provide, was shot once in the back and was found about 2 a.m. Sunday in the area of 50 Front St.
The man was taken by ambulance to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital with a wound that did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
No arrests in the case had been reported as of 1 p.m. Monday.
