Trib­ute to Si­na­tra will ben­e­fit SPCA

KINGSTON >> For­mer tele­vi­sion news an­chor and re­gional ac­tor and mu­si­cian Jerry Gret­zinger Jr. will per­form “Si­na­tra 101, The Man, The Myth, The Mu­sic” on Satur­day, Oct. 8, to ben­e­fit the Ul­ster County So­ci­ety for the Preven­tion of Cru­elty to An­i­mals.

Si­na­tra 101 be­gins at 5 p.m. at St. Mary’s Hall, 188 North St. The cost is $55 per per­son and in­cludes din­ner and the show. The Ital­ian buf­fet is spon­sored by Benny’s Pizze­ria, with con­tri­bu­tions from other lo­cal busi­nesses. All pro­ceeds will ben­e­fit the Ul­ster County SPCA.

Gret­zinger, who pre­vi­ously an­chored the evening news with Liz Bishop for CBS6 in Al­bany, is now vice-pres­i­dent for strate­gic com­mu­ni­ca­tions and pub­lic re­la­tions at the SUNY Polytech­nic In­sti­tute in Al­bany. He grew up in Kingston.
