Monticello man charged with murder
THOMPSON >> A Monticello man has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a bungalow colony caretaker, the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.
The suspect, Rickey Bolden, Jr., 36, was arraigned in Thompson Town Court and sent to the Sullivan County Jail without bail.
Bolden is accused of killing John Ferrari, Jr., 61, the caretaker at the Pardess Bungalow Colony at 236 Old Liberty Road in the Thompson.
Ferrari, of River Vale, N.J., was found dead at the bungalow colony last Friday.
Authorities have not said how Ferrari was killed or what the motive might have been.
