Mon­ti­cello man charged with mur­der

THOMPSON >> A Mon­ti­cello man has been charged with sec­ond-de­gree mur­der in the death of a bun­ga­low colony care­taker, the Sul­li­van County Sher­iff’s Of­fice said Tues­day.

The sus­pect, Rickey Bolden, Jr., 36, was ar­raigned in Thompson Town Court and sent to the Sul­li­van County Jail with­out bail.

Bolden is ac­cused of killing John Fer­rari, Jr., 61, the care­taker at the Pardess Bun­ga­low Colony at 236 Old Lib­erty Road in the Thompson.

Fer­rari, of River Vale, N.J., was found dead at the bun­ga­low colony last Fri­day.

Au­thor­i­ties have not said how Fer­rari was killed or what the mo­tive might have been.
