Cerissa DiValentino scored all four goals for New Paltz High, propelling the Huguenots to a 4-2 Mid-Hudson Athletic League girls soccer victory over Wallkill.
Erin Metzger assisted on two of the scores for (7-2 MHAL, 8-2 overall) New Paltz. Fiona Wienstein led the defense.
Sam Muller’s defensive play and the goalkeeping of Caroline Frank paced Wallkill. Rhinebeck 6, Onteora 0
At Rhinebeck, Michelle Giamportone had three goals and an assist to lead the Hawks.
Marissa Giamportone and Amber Hoglin also scored for Rhinebeck. Olivia Lortie, Dani Amidon, Sam McClenahan, Elise Voorhis and Libby Mensch all had assists.
“We are battling injuries and illnesses the past few games, but the team really rose to the occasion against a good Onteora squad,” Rhinebeck coach Matt Grande said. “Caroline Voorhis, Libby Callahan and Alex Dunn kept the defense together and really helped preserve the shutout.”

At Marlboro, Hannah Sullivan had two goals and an assist, Kali Schindler had a goal and one assist, Carolyn Ludwigson also scored and Lizzy Lofaro added an assist to lead the (5-3, 5-4) Dukes.
“We were put in the correct mindset with early counter attacking goals by Hannah and Kali,” Marlboro coach Keith Walker said. “The girls did a great job of using the flanks to open space in the attacking third of the field.

At Kyserike, Sam Deleon connected off Avery Britt’s corner kick and Cassidy Fields scored off Kaylin Vermilyea’s assist to enable Rondout Valley to defeat John A. Coleman Catholic.
Erin Clune stopped nine shots for the Ganders. Roosevelt 4, Highland 1
At Highland, Abby Thomas scored two goals, Natalie Wajda had a goal and one assist and Camryn Tarkos also had an assist to lead (2-5) Roosevelt.
Teresa Mazella had the goal off a direct kick for (28, 2-9) Highland.
Alana Cathcart didn’t make a save for Roosevelt, but junior defender Sydney Tomaseski stepped in to clear two would-be goals when the ball got past the keeper.
