PCB Superfund site focus of session
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will host a public meeting Thursday, Oct. 13, to discuss the progress of the second five-year review of the Hudson River PCBs Superfund site.
The second in a series of workshops involving the public during the five-year review process, the session will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Henry A. Wallace Center at the FDR Presidential Library and Home, 4097 Albany Post Road.
The workshop will include an overview of the five-year review process and a summary of the topics that have been discussed to date during the ongoing monthly meetings of the Five-Year Review Team, which includes representatives from a number of state and federal agencies. The anticipated schedule for the completion of the review and opportunities for public input will also be discussed.
