PCB Su­per­fund site fo­cus of ses­sion

The U.S. En­vi­ron­men­tal Pro­tec­tion Agency will host a pub­lic meet­ing Thurs­day, Oct. 13, to dis­cuss the progress of the sec­ond five-year re­view of the Hud­son River PCBs Su­per­fund site.

The sec­ond in a se­ries of work­shops in­volv­ing the pub­lic dur­ing the five-year re­view process, the ses­sion will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Henry A. Wal­lace Cen­ter at the FDR Pres­i­den­tial Li­brary and Home, 4097 Al­bany Post Road.

The work­shop will in­clude an over­view of the five-year re­view process and a sum­mary of the topics that have been dis­cussed to date dur­ing the on­go­ing monthly meet­ings of the Five-Year Re­view Team, which in­cludes rep­re­sen­ta­tives from a num­ber of state and fed­eral agen­cies. The an­tic­i­pated sched­ule for the com­ple­tion of the re­view and op­por­tu­ni­ties for pub­lic in­put will also be dis­cussed.
