Fall Festival in village takes place Oct. 7
The village will host a Fall Festival on Main Street from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 7 as part of First Friday.
The village will be open late for the event. Admission is free.
Among the highlights will be a costume parade for dogs and children happening at 5:30 p.m. There will be prizes awarded for best costumes — for people and canines. After the parade, there will a screening of the movie “Hocus Pocus.”
There will be pumpkin painting with the Catskill Mountain Artisans’ Guild, and scarecrow making out on the street along with a bounce house for children.
Ben Rounds will provide musical entertainment throughout the entire event. And there will also be a demonstration of how to press your own apple cider.
The festival will take place weather permitting. For more information, visit mainstreetmargaretville.com or call (845) 5864177.
