Louise M. Innella, 87, of Rhinebeck
RHINEBECK >> Louise M. Innella, 87, passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016, at the Baptist Home, Rhinebeck.
She was born Feb. 17, 1929, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of August and Antoinette (Paolillo) Engel. Contracting polio as a child, she was determined to enjoy life and loved spending time with her family and friends. She married David Innella on June 17, 1956, and they were married for 46 years until he passed away on Jan. 6, 2003.
Louise had worked for Prudential for many years in Brooklyn. After moving to Rhinebeck in 1974, she worked for EDDI private investigators and returned to Prudential in Poughkeepsie until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Christopher Roman Catholic Church, Red Hook. She belonged to the Rock City Grange and the Welcome Friends Club.
Louise is survived by two daughters, Adrienne and her husband David Mastri of Rhinebeck, and Vivienne Innella; two grandchildren, Tyler Mastri and Madison Mastri; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Fred and Robert Engel.
Calling hours will be held at Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck, on Thursday, Oct. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at St. Christopher Church, Red Hook.
Interment will follow in Rhinebeck Cemetery.
