Tigers improve record to 10-0-1 with 3-0 shutout of Raiders
Unbeaten Kingston High improved to 10-0-1 with a 3-0 shutout of Red Hook in a MidHudson Athletic League field hockey match.
Brooke Gastin had a goal and an assist in the win. Makenna Sepesi and Meagan Gavis each had a goal, and Abbie Mayone added an assist to lead the Tigers.
Kingston had 16 shots on goal, while the Tigers defense held the Raiders to none.
Abby Brocco and Journee Blackwood were in goal for Kingston, while Julianna Schaffrick had 15 saves in the loss for Red Hook.

Brittany Vasquez had two goals and an assist as the Lady Bushmen prevailed.
Vasquez scored the match’s first goal unassisted in the 14th minute and knocked in a second on a Lyndsey Deretchin assist seven minutes later to give Pine Bush a 2-0 edge at the half.
Lyndsey Deretchin added a third on an Isabella Pugliese assist nine minutes into the second half, and Helen Deretchin put a fourth between the posts on a Brittany Vasquez assist in the 28th minute of the second half in the win.
The (6-1-2, 5-1-1) Lady Bushmen dominated 18-2 in shots on goal. Elizabeth Schwoerer recorded 14 stops for the (0-5-3) Spartans.
