Kingston earns OCIAA split with Pine Bush

Kingston High split an Orange County In­ter­scholas­tic Ath­letic As­so­ci­a­tion cross coun­try dual meet with Pine Bush as the Tigers hon­ored their se­niors. The boys won 19-40, while the girls lost 24-31.

The boys won 19-40, while the girls lost 24-31.

Jayson Hines and Robert Becker went placed first and sec­ond, re­spec­tively, to lead the Tigers with Hines just a step ahead of his team­mate. Hines won in 15:52 with Becker right be­hind at 15:52.3.

Round­ing out the Tigers were Ai­den Lancer (4th, 16:34), Gio Mel­chionne (fifth, 17:45), Bai­ley Ryan (sev­enth, 17:55), John­nie Lough­lin (ninth, 17:55.9), Bradley Hack (10th, 18:12), Ed­die Za­jac (11th, 18:41), Cameron Fair­ley (16th, 19:08), Matt Krom (21st, 19:52), Cole El­men­dorf (23rd, 20:24) and Jeff Hayner (24th, 20:30).

Jackie Cor­bett and Gabrielle Palazzo went 1-2 to lead Pine Bush. Grace Re­gan was third in 20:54 and Maggie Noe fourth in 21:02 to pace Kingston.

Au­tumn Spy­hal­sky (21:20) and Cindyt Jiang (22:51) aere sixth and eighth, re­specitvely, for the Tigers. Also run­ning for Kingston were Clara Sensini (10th, 23:38), Carly Har­jes (11th, 23:45), Thea Ko­valeski (12th, 23:47) and Kayla Ajaitaz (18th, 23:35).
