WHAT: Class on New York state Agricultural Assessment Program and other tax incentives

DETAILS: This class is for agricultural producers looking to learn more about the state’s Agricultural Assessment Program and other tax incentives. At this class, Michael Dunham, tax assessor for the towns of Marbletown, Rochester and Rosendale, will provide information on the agricultural land tax assessment program, from the perspective of an experienced local tax assessor. Elizabeth Higgins, agricultural business management specialist for the Eastern New York
Commercial Horticulture Program, will discuss the program from a business perspective. The program is free, but space is limited. The deadline to RSVP is Oct. 14.
