Kingston nets 2OT win over Pine Bush

Lu­cas Lopez’s goal in the sec­ond over­time lifted Kingston High over Pine Bush 4-3 in an Orange County In­ter­scholas­tic Ath­letic As­so­ci­a­tion soc­cer match at Di­etz Sta­dium.

Eli Con­ners and Brayan Gon­za­lez had goals in the first half to give the Tigers a 2-0 edge at the half.

The Bush­men roared back with two goals by Jared Sparks and one by Fausto Linares to take a 3-2 lead, but Andy Lopez would score the equal­izer on a Lu­cas Lopez as­sist to force OT.

Manny Arias con­trib­uted an as­sist for (4-6-1 over­all, 2-4 OCIAA) Kingston. Tyler Suchy added an as­sist for (2-9, 0-5) Pine Bush.

Josh McNutt had five saves for Kingston, while Dy­lan Drumm stopped 10 shots for the Bush­men.

The Tigers face Sauger­ties in a non-league match at Di­etz Sta­dium at 9 a.m. Satur­day.
