Oct. 21 moonwalk on Hudson Valley Rail Trail
HIGHLAND >> The “October MoonWalk,” an event to take place on the Hudson Valley Rail Trail, will feature a guided moonwalk, light snacks, beverages and a bonfire.
The event is scheduled to take place Oct. 21, with registration at 7 p.m. Then moonwalk will start at the trail depot at 101 New Paltz Road and run to 9 p.m.
The moonlight walk will take place from the depot and go westward to Tony Williams Park and return to the depot for light refreshments.
Featured events include the Highland High School Theater Club, under the guidance of Krista Petrosoff, presenting “Our Town of Lloyd: A Walk Through History” along the Hudson Valley Rail Trail beginning at 7 p.m.
Jonathan Heiles, a professional Storyteller, will begin telling stories at 8 p.m. around the bonfire.
Entrance fee for the event is $5, Children under age 6 get in free.
