SUNY Ulster presents concert on Oct. 19
WHAT: Concert WHEN: Oct. 19at 7:30p.m. WHERE: Quimby Theater on the SUNY Ulser campus, 491Cottekill Road, Stone Ridge DETAILS: SUNY Ulster’s music department will present a Showcase Concert featuring the musical talents of its students. All of the performing ensembles at SUNY Ulster — including the Wind Ensemble, Community Band, Jazz Ensemble, String Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble and Choral Ensembles — will come together for this event, formerly the Pops Concert. Bonham performs in benefit event for library
WHAT: Tracy Bonham in concert WHEN: Nov. 11, with gates opening at 6:30p.m., doors opening at 7:30p.m. and the show starting at 8p.m. WHERE: Levon Helm Studios, 160Plochman Lane, Woodstock DETAILS: The Friends of the Woodstock Library present Tracy Bonham in celebration of the 20th anniversary of her debut album, the Grammy-nominated, gold album “The Burdens of Being Upright,” featuring the single, “Mother Mother.” All proceeds from the concert will be donated to The Friends’ music program, including the “Live at the Library” series and will be dedicated to the memory of Levon Helm. With the proceeds, The Friends will expand its music programming to include more children’s shows and larger events outside the library. Tickets are $35for seating and $25for standing room.
