SUNY Ul­ster presents con­cert on Oct. 19

WHAT: Con­cert WHEN: Oct. 19at 7:30p.m. WHERE: Quimby Theater on the SUNY Ulser cam­pus, 491Cot­tekill Road, Stone Ridge DE­TAILS: SUNY Ul­ster’s mu­sic depart­ment will present a Show­case Con­cert fea­tur­ing the mu­si­cal tal­ents of its stu­dents. All of the per­form­ing en­sem­bles at SUNY Ul­ster — in­clud­ing the Wind En­sem­ble, Com­mu­nity Band, Jazz En­sem­ble, String En­sem­ble, Gui­tar En­sem­ble and Choral En­sem­bles — will come to­gether for this event, for­merly the Pops Con­cert. Bon­ham per­forms in ben­e­fit event for li­brary

WHAT: Tracy Bon­ham in con­cert WHEN: Nov. 11, with gates open­ing at 6:30p.m., doors open­ing at 7:30p.m. and the show start­ing at 8p.m. WHERE: Levon Helm Stu­dios, 160Plochman Lane, Wood­stock DE­TAILS: The Friends of the Wood­stock Li­brary present Tracy Bon­ham in cel­e­bra­tion of the 20th an­niver­sary of her de­but al­bum, the Grammy-nom­i­nated, gold al­bum “The Bur­dens of Be­ing Up­right,” fea­tur­ing the sin­gle, “Mother Mother.” All pro­ceeds from the con­cert will be do­nated to The Friends’ mu­sic pro­gram, in­clud­ing the “Live at the Li­brary” se­ries and will be ded­i­cated to the mem­ory of Levon Helm. With the pro­ceeds, The Friends will ex­pand its mu­sic pro­gram­ming to in­clude more chil­dren’s shows and larger events out­side the li­brary.
