Domestic Violence Information Forum set
STONE RIDGE » SUNY Ulster will host the 4th Annual Domestic Violence Information Forum from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 28 in the College Lounge, Vanderlyn Hall.
The conference is cosponsored by the Ulster County Interagency Council on Domestic Violence, County Executive Michael Hein, SUNY Ulster and the TMI Project.
The public is invited to this free event.
This conference will focus on participants telling their stories regarding domestic violence issues. By sharing, storytellers become agents of change, fostering compassion, understanding and public awareness, according to a press release.
The TMI Project is a non-profit organization offering memoir workshops and performances that invite storytellers and audience members to explore new perspectives.
