Senior Angels to host Thanksgiving dinner
Greene County Senior Angels will host their first community Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 24.
The dinner, open to all seniors age 60 and older, will be held at the Rivertown Senior Center, 39 Second St. Seating is limited to 175 guests, but there is no charge for the dinner.
Doors will open at noon and dinner will be served at 1 p.m. It will be followed with entertainment by Mike Siciliano from 2 to 4 p.m.
For more information or to make reservations for the dinner, contact Ken at the Greene County Department of Human Services at (518) 719-3555. Volunteers are also being sought, as well as donations to help offset the costs of the dinner.
The Senior Angel Fund, in addition to sponsoring the Thanksgiving Dinner, is also used to purchase clothing, small appliances and household necessities for Greene County seniors in need.
