The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
· Acting in a manner
injurious to a child: Angelo R. Paradiso, 22, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 8:57 p.m. Monday in Cairo and charged with two misdemeanor counts of acting in a manner injurious to child under 17, the misdemeanors of assault and aggravated harassment, and possession of marijuana, a violation. Paradiso’s status was unavailable.
· Drugs: Hyland A. Slater, 25, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 12:48 p.m. Monday on U.S. Route 9W in Coxsackie and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, a violation. Slater was released with a ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.
· DWI: Carl T. Sturner, 33, of Earlton, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 3:17 p.m. Monday on All Peat Bed Road in Coxsackie and charged with the felonies of facilitating aggravated unlicensed driving, drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Sturner was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
· Criminal mischief/endangering/weapon: Daniel Costantini, 29, of Highland, was arrested by Lloyd police on Sunday and charged with the misdemeanors of endangering the welfare of a child, criminal mischief and criminal possession of a weapon, and with possession of marijuana, a violation. Costantini was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
· DWI: Christopher Panettieri, 52, of Windham, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie on CD Lane Road in Windham and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Panettieri was released with a ticket for Windham Town Court.
