Red Hook Pub­lic Li­brary hosts Su­per Satur­days

WHAT: Sci­ence Satur­days WHEN: Most Satur­days through Dec. 3, with ses­sions at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. WHERE: Red Hook Pub­lic Li­brary, 7444 South Broad­way, Red Hook DE­TAILS: The li­brary and Bard Col­lege’s Cen­ter for Civic En­gage­ment present this pro­gram, in which ex­per­i­ments will be con­ducted. The pro­gram is for stu­dents in third, fourth and fifth grades. Par­tic­i­pants will do hands-on ex­per­i­ments while learn­ing about the ma­jor branches of sci­ence. The pro­gram is free and open to the pub­lic, but sign­ing up in per­son at the li­brary is re­quired.
