LAKE KA­TRINE >> Julio Rios Ayala, 79, of Com­mons Drive, Lake Ka­trine, died Tues­day evening, Oct. 11, 2016, at the Ten Broeck Com­mons Nurs­ing Home in Lake Ka­trine.

Born May 22, 1937 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Blas Rios and Ra­mona Ayala.

For many years, Julio was a cook for the Broad­way Lights Diner and Eng’s Restau­rant.

Sur­viv­ing are his chil­dren, Edith Rios of Lake Ka­trine, Fran­cisco Rios of Kingston, Blanca Rios of New Paltz, Hi­ram Rios of Cox­sackie and Juan Rios of Kingston. Sev­eral grand­chil­dren, great-grand­chil­dren, broth­ers and sis­ters also sur­vive.

His wife, An­to­nia Rios, and son, Felix Rios, died pre­vi­ously.
