WHAT: Satur­day Morn­ing Fam­ily Se­ries event WHEN: Oct. 22 at 11 a.m. WHERE: The Cen­ter for Per­form­ing Arts, 661 state Route 308, Rhinebeck DE­TAILS: The cen­ter’s award-win­ning Satur­day Morn­ing Fam­ily Se­ries re­turns with “The Wizard Of Oz,” a fun-filled in­ter­ac­tive pro­duc­tion geared specif­i­cally for young au­di­ences. The sched­ule in­cludes re­turn­ing fa­vorites such as “The Leg­end of Sleepy Hol­low” and “A Christ­mas Carol,” as well as new pro­duc­tions, in­clud­ing “The Vel­veteen Rab­bit” and “Monkey Monkey Mu­sic.” Per­for­mances are aprrox­i­mately 50 min­utes in length. Tick­ets are $9 for adults and $7 for chil­dren. Tick­ets can be bought in ad­vance or at the door an hour be­fore the show.
