Din­ner to honor Gulf War, War on Ter­ror vets

KINGSTON » The Kingston Vet­er­ans As­so­ci­a­tion will host a din­ner Nov. 5 to honor lo­cal vet­er­ans of the Gulf War and the War on Ter­ror­ism.

Din­ner will be­gin with a so­cial hour from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Best West­ern Plus, 503 Wash­ing­ton Ave. It will be fol­lowed by an open­ing cer­e­mony and din­ner of roast beef or chicken Mi­lanese. There will also be pre­sen­ta­tions. The din­ner is free for any­one who served in the ac­tive mil­i­tary, Na­tional Guard or re­serves any­time from 1983 to the present, re­gard­less of where they were sta­tioned. The din­ner is also open to the pub­lic for $25 per per­son.

Tick­ets are lim­ited and may be pur­chased at Amer­i­can Le­gion Post 150 on Broad­way in Kingston or at VFW Post 1386 on the East Ch­ester Street By­pass in the town of Ul­ster.
