Red Hook im­proves to 13-0 with shutout vic­tory over Ron­d­out Val­ley

KINGSTON >> Kingston High scored four goals in the sec­ond half to shut out Roo­sevelt, 5-0, in a non-league match Tues­day as the Tigers played their Se­nior Night game at Di­etz Sta­dium.

Grace DiMuc­cio and Lily Hahn each had a goal and an as­sist and Daria Czaplicki, Ju­lia Roger­son and Faye Hig­gins also scored to lead Kingston. An­geligue Ferro chipped in with an as­sist for the (8-5) Tigers.

Kyla Burns had two saves for Kingston to earn the shutout, while Alana Cath­cart and Hope Dyer com­bined to stop eight shots for (3-9) Roo­sevelt. Red Hook 9, Ron­d­out 0

At Red Hook, Is­abelle LaBar­bera scored five goals to lead the Raiders in a Mid-Hud­son Ath­letic League con­test. Red Hook is now 13-0. Claire Dick­son had a pair of goals, AJ Fuchs-White scored and Tessa Husted got her first var­sity goal for the Raiders. Itzel Mialma and Alexa Franceschi had two as­sists apiece and Abby Wil­liams, Angie Maneri and Syr Es­pos­ito dished out one for Red Hook.

Me­gan Jankowiak and Lau­ren Stokes each played a half in goal to earn a share of the shutout.

Erin Clune had six saves and Bella LaFian­dra had eight in split duty for Ron­d­out Val­ley. Marl­boro 6, Mill­brook 0

At Marl­boro, Han­nah Sul­li­van had a hat trick as the Dukes blanked Mill­brook.

Lizzy Lo­faro, con­nected on a Joyce Ry­der as­sist in the 14th minute to give Marl­boro a 1-0 lead.

Sul­li­van scored her first off Baylee Gar­ri­son’s as­sist in the 22nd minute and Kali Schindler added an­other three min­utes later to make it 3-0 be­fore the half.

Sul­li­van’s sec­ond goal was in the 46th minute and she com­pleted her hat trick off a Schindler pass in the 66th minute. Schindler later capped the scor­ing by set­ting up Joyce Ry­der’s tally.

“Kali Schindler’s mo­bil­ity and vi­sion was great to­day find­ing the cor­rect at­tack­ing op­tion with her passes,” Dukes coach Keith Walker said.

Emily Mott had one save and Alyssa Macur had three for the (8-5, 6-4) Dukes, while Claire Martell recorded nine for (7-5, 7-4) Mill­brook.
