Lopez scores twice to lead Kingston past Val­ley Cen­tral

Andy Lopez had two goals to lead Kingston High to a third straight vic­tory Tues­day, 4-2, over Val­ley Cen­tral in an Or­ange County In­ter­scholas­tic Ath­letic As­so­ci­a­tion boys soc­cer cross­over match. Luca Lopez added a goal and an as­sist and Brayan Gon­za­lez scored a goal, while Timmy Russo, Isai Villa-Var­gas and Tyler Cof­fey each con­trib­uted an as­sist to lead the (6-6-1, 2-4) Tigers.

Kev­ing Roberts had a goal and an as­sist, Devin Scully scored a goal and Austin Crow­foot con­trib­uted an as­sist for the (014) Vik­ings in the loss.

Josh McNutt had seven saves for Kingston, while Nicholas Kranes stopped five for Val­ley Cen­tral.

The Tigers hit the road to take on Mon­roe-Wood­bury at 4:30 p.m. Thurs­day.
