Sauger­ties man held on felony drug charges

An in­ves­ti­ga­tion into nar­cotics traf­fick­ing in Sauger­ties and Kingston led to the seizure of drugs with a street value of $20,000 and the ar­rest of a Sauger­ties man, Kingston po­lice said Fri­day.

Adrian Dab­ney, 38, was ar­rested by Kingston and Sauger­ties po­lice Thurs­day and charged with two felony counts of pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled sub­stance, a mis­de­meanor count of use of drug para­pher­na­lia, and with pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana, a vi­o­la­tion, city po­lice said.

Po­lice said they ex­e­cuted a search war­rant at Dab­ney’s home and seized more than 8 ounces of co­caine and crack co­caine with a street value of

more than $20,000, along with mar­i­juana and drug para­pher­na­lia.

Dab­ney was be­ing held at the Ul­ster County Jail

with­out bail, ac­cord­ing to a Kingston City Court of­fi­cial.

Kingston De­tec­tive Lt. Thierry Croizer said Dab­ney’s

ar­rest was un­re­lated to the ar­rests of 46 sus­pected drug deal­ers in the Kingston and Pough­keep­sie ar­eas on Thurs­day.
