Saugerties man held on felony drug charges
An investigation into narcotics trafficking in Saugerties and Kingston led to the seizure of drugs with a street value of $20,000 and the arrest of a Saugerties man, Kingston police said Friday.
Adrian Dabney, 38, was arrested by Kingston and Saugerties police Thursday and charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor count of use of drug paraphernalia, and with possession of marijuana, a violation, city police said.
Police said they executed a search warrant at Dabney’s home and seized more than 8 ounces of cocaine and crack cocaine with a street value of
more than $20,000, along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Dabney was being held at the Ulster County Jail
without bail, according to a Kingston City Court official.
Kingston Detective Lt. Thierry Croizer said Dabney’s
arrest was unrelated to the arrests of 46 suspected drug dealers in the Kingston and Poughkeepsie areas on Thursday.
