Oct. 29 Vam­pire Ball ben­e­fits HealthAl­liance

The HealthAl­liance Foun­da­tion’s fourth an­nual Vam­pire Ball, on Oct. 29, will show­case lo­cal art and busi­nesses with a Hal­loween twist.

The ball will be­gin at 6 p.m. at the Di­a­mond Mills Ho­tel & Tav­ern in Sauger­ties. The cos­tume party fundraiser, pre­sented by Ton­ner Doll Co., will ben­e­fit HealthAl­liance of the Hud­son Val­ley and fea­ture “sev­eral new tricks and treats,” or­ga­niz­ers say.

At­ten­dees can visit the Haunted Fair­way for “tricks and treats, ghoul­ish games and macabre mer­chants,” in­clud­ing the Broad­way Photo Booth, Mr. Un­pop­pable the bal­loon twis­ter, Pe­ta­los Flo­ral De­sign and En­chanted Cakes. There also will be a “Sev­ered Head Toss” of­fered by Ton­ner Doll, among other ac­tiv­i­ties.

There will also be a cos­tume con­test and a si­lent auc­tion fea­tur­ing pump­kins hand-dec­o­rated by lo­cal artists.
