SUNY Col­lege Coun­cil meets on Oct. 20

The SUNY New Paltz Col­lege Coun­cil will hold its next meet­ing at 3 p.m. Oct. 20 in the Room 903 of the Hag­gerty Ad­min­is­tra­tion Build­ing on the New Paltz cam­pus.

Re­ports will be given by Col­lege Coun­cil Chair­man Ken­neth J. Abt and SUNY New Paltz Pres­i­dent Don­ald P. Chris­tian.

In­cluded in new busi­ness will be a bud­get up­date from Michele Hal­stead, col­lege vice pres­i­dent for ad­min­is­tra­tion and fi­nance, and a con­struc­tion up­date from John Shupe, as­sis­tant vice pres­i­dent for fa­cil­i­ties man­age­ment.

Fol­low­ing the meet­ing, Shupe will pro­vide coun­cil mem­bers with a tour of the fully ren­o­vated Wooster Hall and the new science build­ing that’s sched­uled to open in the spring of 2017.
