‘Be Tick Free!’ contest seeks student entries
All Dutchess County students in high school and middle school are invited to participate in the 2017 “Be Tick Free!” media contest, which will run from Jan. 1 to March 11, 2017.
The goal of the contest is for students to learn how to prevent Lyme and other tick-borne diseases, and then use their digital media skills to teach others what they have learned.
Students are asked to create a 30- or 60-second live action or computeranimated public service announcement about how to prevent tick-borne diseases.
Entries may be submitted by individuals or groups.
