Red Hook zaps Ellenville

Marley Cook had a goal and an assist, as Red Hook High shut out Ellenville, 4-0, in a Mid-Hudson Athletic League field hockey match.

Sarah Timperio, Maddy Hackett and Jessica Wilkinson scored goals for the Raiders, who led 2-0 at halftime, while Makenzie Smith and Allie Budd added assists in the win. Julianna Schaffrick, meanwhile, made two saves, as Red Hook outshot Ellenville 17-1 and had an 11-3 advantage in penalty corners.

Megan Eckert stopped 13 shots in the loss for the Devils.
